"Learning to play golf only on a driving range is like learning to swim in the bath!" Peter Myers (PGA Professional)

On playtolearn.golf you will...

  • have fun tee up with your pals and enjoy a round of golf
  • learn your PGA Professional coach has years of experience playing at a high level and they are on hand to share their knowledge of the game with you. Each coach is highly trained to teach golfers of all abilitites ensuring you have the best learning experience possible
  • be healthier a round of golf is around 10,000 steps and is the easiest and by far the most enjoyable way to stay or get healthy. No sweating in the gym and pounding on a treadmill. You will be outside in nature enjoying spectacular views at our local courses in the company of your friends
  • socialise golf is more than just a game. It is a great way to make lifelong friends. You can't beat a bit of banter on the course followed a pint afterwards!
  • compete at the end of the first project we will invite you to the learntoplay.golf scramble which is a fun and (very) mildly competitive day out. After the golf we will head in to the bar for a few drinks, a meal and entertainment. It is truly an unmissable event In project 2 we will get you a handicap (if you haven't got one already) and before long you can be playing in the weekly competitions as you shoot to become the best golfer you can be! That is of course if you want to. The game can be played just for fun if you don't want to play competitions
