It really is amazing and it’s super exciting for you all!
Toptracer is coming to Fraserburgh.
Launching in early March 2022
Toptracer Range technology, a product from Topgolf Entertainment Group, is the leading innovation in ball-tracing technology and has transformed the way people watch, practice and play golf. And, it is soon to be installed at Dunes!
But, what does it mean for you?
Firstly, we see Dunes Golf Centre as an entertainment facility.
As a result, we have always looked for ways to make the game and your practice sessions more engaging and way more enjoyable than a normal golf driving range.
Toptracer fits the bill perfectly and will open up the game to a whole new audience as well as making the game more fun for existing players.
Director of Entertainment at Dunes, Peter Myers, had this to say…

All 10 bays on the driving range will feature a large touchscreen monitor that will show the ball flight and other key data for analysis to help your game.
There are several games and challenges that you can take part in on each visit. Some of them are held on a National Level meaning the users of Dunes can test their skills against golfers from all over the UK, which is really cool.
Long Drive
Settle the debate once and for all – challenge your friends to see who can hit the ball the furthest
Approach Challenge
Take your aim for the pin as consistently close approach shots will lead to victory.

My Practice
Track the nuances of each club in your bag and store stats over time
Virtual Golf
Play the World’s most iconic courses like Pebble Beach, St Andrews, Torrey Pines and Royal St Georges right from your driving range bay.
Warm Up
Analyse multiple data points, including ball speed, launch angle, distance and more.
Nearest the pin
Take aim at the flagstick in this classic golf contest gone virtual.
Points Game
The objective is simple: Score points based on accuracy and distance.
Go Fish
This ultra-child friendly game is designed to bring a new generation into golf.
Fun for all ages and abilities, ‘Go Fish’ can be played individually or as a team of up to four people. Players bid to capture each of the 24 different sea creatures in their virtual aquarium by hitting shots to various targets on the driving range.
Following the launch of the game, Toptracer’s President, Ben Sharpe, said,
“Go Fish is the latest development in our pursuit to make Toptracer Range technology the most inclusive platform in golf.
“We want to make the game of golf more accessible for everybody, not just the regular golfer. This is the next step in our journey to grow the game among traditional and non-traditional audiences and introduce younger people to our sport in an entertaining and engaging way, that’ll keep them coming back for more.”
Countdown to Launch Day…
The Toptracer team are starting the install on 28th February 2022 and it is expected to take 3 to 4 days to complete.
